Testimonials

The response from students who have participated in the Price Media Law Moot Court Programme has been heartwarming. For many, this was their first time traveling outside their home country, or engaging in this kind of competition. Many participants come from places where freedom of expression often faces the greatest challenges or where law has not been fully developed to effectively arbitrate. The Price Moot Court Programme provides students, and often judges, with an invaluable training tool in laws governing freedom of expression. In 2008 for example - the Moot Court’s very first year - the surprising and thrilling winning team was an all women’s team from the Islamic University of Malaysia.
