This year’s Spirit of the Competition prize was awarded to Mr Bantayehu Demlie, from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.  Due to the fact that his team-mates dropped out at the last moment because of visa issues and illness, Bantayehu represented his team single-handedly, arguing both sides of the case.  His mooting skill coupled with his determination to overcome adversity and warmth of personality impressed judges and participants alike.  Well done Bantayehu!
