International Rounds 2008

About

The first edition of the Monroe E. Price International Media Law Moot Court Competition was organised by the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford in collaboration with the International Media Lawyers Association (IMLA) and held in Oxford on 3-5th April 2008. Eight teams from India, Georgia, Kenya, Malaysia, Russia, Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe debated on a case concerning the publication of a controversial cartoon in the fictional Republic of Turistein. International Islamic University of Malaysia won the final to become the first overall champions.
